Environmental degradation is no longer a myth. Climate changes occurring across the globe have made me strongly aware of the fact that it is up to me as a homeowner to try my best in conserving the environment. Hence, I chose to start a blog to help other homeowners like me to reduce their carbon footprint and potentially we could make drastic changes that will slow down and eventually stop environmental degradation altogether! The great thing is that you can start with minor changes around your house. One change I have made is opting for solar air conditioning to minimise my reliance on artificial heating and cooling. Other changes you can make include using recycled building materials and roofing supplies, selecting the right orientation when building your first home and additional changes that are included in the posts you will find here.
